Through the Mini Grant awards, teachers have been able to
purchase:
- Special supplemental books for
various elementary grades.
- Spanish books for our growing
population of Spanish-speaking students to take home so
parents can read to them.
- English language learners for middle and
high school students.
- Equipment for various classrooms such as the Math Explorer
calculators for learning disabled students, autoharps for music program.
- Equipment for students to do environmental studies at
Iowa Lakeside Lab
