Kading Gift
| We mourn the passing of Erlene Kading, former Foundation
board member, a major financial contributor to the
Foundation, and friend. Erlene taught public school for many years, and continued to tutor
children in her own home after retiring. Even in death, Erlene continues to
set the example of what it means to love children and learning, with a $67,000 gift to the
Foundation. The gift is a wonderful addition to a previous major gift from
Erlene and her husband Ed, the beginning of the Ed & Erlene Kading Mini
Grant Awards. These awards are given to faculty who apply for funding for
special projects.
